Is it safe to meet strangers?
Your phone number is encrypted and never shown to anyone. Nobody can message you until you share a group, so there's no cold outreach. Members can verify their ID for a badge, and reports about people or content go to our team, not to a volunteer admin.
Is it free?
Yes. Finding groups, joining them, running one, chat, events and RSVPs all cost nothing today, and there are no paid plans. If that ever changes, the groups already here will hear it from us first.
How is this different from a WhatsApp group?
A WhatsApp group is a room you have to be added to by someone who has your number. This is a front door: people find you, apply on your terms, and land in a chat that already has the events, the feed and the member list attached.
