Terms of Service

This is a working draft that has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It describes how BondBloc is intended to operate, but it is not a substitute for terms prepared for your jurisdiction.

1. Accepting these terms

By creating a BondBloc account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service. You must be at least 16 years old to use BondBloc.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Give us accurate information when you sign up, and keep it current. We may ask you to verify your identity before you can create or join certain groups.

3. Groups and events

Groups on BondBloc are created and run by their members, not by us. Group admins set their own rules, membership requirements, and any fees. We do not vet, endorse, or guarantee any group, event, or member. Meeting people in person carries real-world risk and that risk is yours to manage.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use BondBloc to harass, threaten, impersonate, or endanger anyone; to post unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit content; to spam or scam other members; or to scrape, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service. We may remove content, suspend accounts, or delete groups that breach these rules.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant us a licence to host, store, and display that content for the purpose of operating BondBloc. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload.

6. Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, or where required by law.

7. Disclaimers and liability

BondBloc is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service, from any group or event, or from your interactions with other members.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use BondBloc after that means you accept the updated terms.
